 Module CEQUALW2 is a module using the [[CE-QUAL-W2]] ecological model formulations. CE-QUAL-W2 is 2D laterally average hydrodynamic and ecological model developed at the U.S. Corps of Engineers and it's normally used to simulate water quality in reservoirs. Its ecological formulations were adapted and re-programmed into MOHID as Module CEQUALW2 which made it possible to run 3D applications with these ecological formulations. This module is able to simulate 22 properties, including temperature, nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and silica biogeochemical cycles), oxygen  and several species of algae (microalgae).
